Greetings one and all, and many thanks to those of you that made it to another Saturday morning, braving the heat, to attend our Mid-Camp Assessment.

A special appreciation to Brother Abdu who was gracious enough to capture it on video and Loretta who took valuable photos of the session. Special thanks to Spencer & Richard for tuning into our session via Tel-Con and for Michael Hall who drove all the way down from Tucson to attend.

Frank provided us all with a dynamic presentation that profiled the facts & statistics about our Disconnected Male populations and clarity about the maltreatment they suffer in the state of Arizona which continues to be the worst in the country.

Hank & Ghazi reviewed their roles as Facilitators for our young men and some of the activities they have experienced with them since our first week of camp.

Betty provided us with a review on last summer’s Camp experience through a power point presentation of the superb Souvenir Journal that she crafted  to memorialize it and requested our individual and collective help with preparation for our Journal to conclude this summers’ Teen Leadership Development Camp.

There are three weeks remaining in the Camp and it is our collective responsibility to continue these weeks with continued energy and consistency thru to the end of Camp.

Next week will be short Monday through Wednesday, because on Thursday 4 of us will be traveling up to LOST CANYON CAMP up in northern AZ where UPI has been developing a partnership with the ‘Young Life’ program, and where we plan to take the young men & young women next summer (2016) at the end of the summer. So everyone gets to celebrate the holiday weekend before returning to our final few weeks of camp.

MUCH APPRECIATION TO YOU ALL!
