Arizona Department of Education Names UPI Education as a Pre-Approved Program Provider

September 27, 2012, Phoenix, Arizona — UPI Education has been named as a Pre-Approved Program Provider by the Arizona Department of Education, Character Education and Development Unit. UPI now joins a select group of preferred educational program providers who have been chosen to participate in the Character Education Matching Grant program.
This matching grant program is made possible through Proposition 301 funds and authorized by A.R.S. 15-154.01. The purpose of the Character Education Matching Grant is to provide public and charter schools throughout Arizona with funds to support proven effective character education professional development for program implementation or improvement with the intent of positively impacting student behavior and school climate/culture.
