Director of the U.S. VETS – Phoenix, AZ
Michelle’s passion for education is evident by her years of devotion throughout her career.
She has worked as an Education Division Social Services Manager, Program Administrator for a Public and an Alternative school. She was responsible for the development, design and oversight of multiple school programs including summer and after-school youth programs and an alternative learning program.
Her resume includes positions held as a Biology & Physical Science Teacher, an Adult Basic Education Instructor and a Training Facilitator for the Family Literacy Network.
Michelle’s credentials include a Master’s Degree in Education, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and an Arizona Prekindergarten-12 Certification.
Michelle is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Salt River Pima-Maricopa First Things First Board Member, Phoenix Business and Workforce Development Board Member and Maricopa Continuum of Care Committee Member.
Currently, Michelle holds the position of the Director of the U.S. VETS – Phoenix, where she oversees the agency fiscal and program operations.
